Class Experience
This is an interactive class with many opportunities for discussion and expression of ideas. This will be a slide presentation that will include information text passages that we will use as guided reading. The students will be able to understand the basic information that is presented on land forms. They will learn about the 4 animals that are presented in the lesson: the sloth, jaguar, tapir and toucan. There will be short video selections included to reinforce learning. The students will...
The students will gain and understanding of basic information relating to the rain forest. There will be key vocabulary words taught through the reading selections of the lesson. The students will learn basic facts and information on the four animals included today.
I have been a science teacher to students of all ages. In my classroom at traditional school my very favorite subjects to teach are centered around animals! I very much enjoy teaching student about animals from different parts of the world. I look forward to hearing the students thoughts about each animal that we learn about!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The learner will be assessed throughout the lesson with their participation in classroom reading and discussion. At the end of the lesson there will be four questions that will gauge the students understanding of the content that was presented.
