Class Experience

In this one time class, your child will learn about black bears  that live in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I hike in these mountains frequently, and I have seen black bears a lot while driving through the park, and I have even seen a black bear while hiking.  Using a slide show,  I will present facts about the bears such as their diet, habitat, and lifecycle.  During class, we will make a poster about black bears.
