In this class, we will learn lots of interesting things about animals in Africa! Some of the animals we will discuss are lions, giraffes, and hippos. We will learn where they live, and what their habitat is like. We will also learn what they like to eat, and other fun facts about these amazing creatures! We will use pictures, video clips, maps and fun facts to help us discuss these animals. The class will be relaxed with a fun atmosphere, so that learners feel comfortable to participate. Learners will be encouraged to interact and share information about the animals. I would love to know what your learner’s favorite African animal is! * I offer two classes about animals in Africa. They may be taken in any order!
Learning Goals
The goal of this class is to have fun learning about the wildlife of Africa. My hope is that this class helps to develop a love for zoology!
