Animals and Their Habitats; An Interactive Way to Learn About Animals!
Class experience
Calling all animal lovers! This ongoing class is all about students learning about different animals and their habitats. Each class, we will focus on one specific animal and the environment it lives in. I will have a worksheet prepared before the class with the animal that we are focusing on and the facts about the animals and their habitats, and the students will have a piece of paper, pencil, and crayons/colored pencils/markers (optional) to take notes and draw a picture of the animal for...
The students will be using higher level critical thinking skills while discussing and asking questions about the different animals and their environments. The students will be using social skills while participating in group discussions. Students will be following science standards that are required at this age level through inquiry and investigation of the different animals.
I have my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and I am familiar with the higher level critical thinking skills and inquiry skills students are required to know at this age level.
Students will need a pencil, paper, and crayons/markers/colored pencils (optional).
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
