US Grade Kindergarten - 3
In this weekly science Summer Camp, children will learn about the real life animals that Pokemon are based on.They will learn about life science as it relates to Pokemon and what living things need to survive within their habit. They will become scientists themselves when they make observations about the animals that they see throughout the class and talk about their ideas and large group discussions with their friends. Weekly vocabulary and reading opportunities will be provided for a balanced, well- rounded learning experience. The students will also play fun guessing games based on hints and clues provided during the lesson. This class is perfect for beginners and experts alike. It is even a great fit for those who just like animals and want to make new friends. I believe that learning happens when children are happy, having fun and engaged in the lesson. This class is a small group version of my larger Pokemon classes. It’s perfect for students who want the extra time and attention with 1-1 support. This class is ESL friendly and a fun way to practice and listen to English speakers. Classes are learner led and subject to change at anytime: Below are some examples of classes and animals discussed July 1 week 1: Butterflies July 7 week 2 Cats July 14 week 3: dogs and wolves July 21 week 4 owls
