Class Experience

Seatbelts, everyone! In this class, we will take a safari journey and learn about both animals and parts of speech. This is a one-time class covering nouns and elephants!

This class will focus on a play-based learning experience. Please dress for the event, and bring your favorite animals with you. I recommend a hat, binoculars, water, sunscreen, and a map! Learners will explore the topic through use of printable worksheets, activities, crafts, and printable flashcards that can be printed and brought to class. There will be a slideshow, and as we go through it, we will stop for games and fun!

Future classes about other safari animals and parts of speech are also available. See you soon!

If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to me! If you have any feedback for future classes, please contact me! Thank you for your time! :)

I have been a librarian for over a decade. In this time, I have worked with students of all ages (college to elementary) on their reading, organization, and grammar skills. I have been with VIPKid, an online ESL teaching program, for 3 years. I have been with Magic Ears, another ESL teaching program, for 6 months. In this time, I have learned to elicit total physical response while engaging young learners, teaching curriculum based on learning English as a second language. I have worked in both one-on-one and four-on-one virtual settings. I am comfortable with all ages and larger groups of children.
