Class experience
Let's travel the World together and learn about ecosystems! This class meets twice a week and provides a relaxing atmosphere for learning, as the learners help decide how club time is spent. In the first part of class, learners will complete notebook pages on characteristics of ecosystems or another topic of the day. They will help decide which ecosystem to learn more about. I have more than 20 years of experience teaching and creating with children in various settings including leading camps, afterschool programs, and other children's programs. Over the last six years, I have taught young learners online and homeschooled my own children. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and I am passionate about utilizing my knowledge and research skills to educate children about the fascinating world of animals. I have provided private conversational English and science tutoring on Outschool for a few years using a program named Favorite Things. Additionally, I offer anatomy lessons as an alternative to dissection and classes that involve compound microscopes.
