This is a class all about turtles, tortoises, and terrapins. Participants will learn about these remarkable reptiles including basic knowledge and information regarding biology, ecology, habitat, and care. There will be plenty of facts provided on these organisms as well as their characteristics, adaptations, and what makes them so special (There are a whole lot of terrific turtles)! Turtles, tortoises, and terrapins as a group are the MOST threatened reptiles by extinction and students...
Students will learn about the physical characteristics and biology of the turtles as a group (includes terrapins and tortoises), their habitat and ecology, and conservation in the wild.
