The Evolution of Reptiles is an absolutely fascinating component of our Earth’s natural history. In this class, we will travel through time in order to uncover the history of the reptiles all the way to present day. Although it may seem irrelevant to humans, the evolution of reptiles ultimately leads to the dawn of the Mammals. In this class, we will cover a whole bunch of extinct animals and why they may have not survived to present day. There are also many reptiles in danger of extinction...
Students will learn about the life history and evolutionary biology of reptiles. We will explore the timeline of Reptile evolution making stops all along the way to current day.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
