Class experience
This is a class all about boa constrictors where learners will meet a LIVE snake! Participants will learn about these remarkable reptiles including basic knowledge and information regarding biology, ecology, habitat, and care. There will be plenty of facts provided on these organisms as well as their characteristics, adaptations, and what makes them so special! Students will learn about the physical characteristics and biology of the boa constrictor, their habitat and ecology, and conservation in the wild.
-A positive attitude :) -A piece of paper and writing utensil can be brought in order to take notes if desired but is not necessary.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
We will be talking about snakes in this class, as well as there will be a live guest. Please be aware if your learner has a fear of snakes (Ophidiophobia) or is sensitive to this subject. The main goal of this class is to present to the learner that snakes like most animals are just trying to live their every day lives and don't act in malice but defense. Education on the topic can be a great start to understanding these beautiful creatures as well as working to not be fearful of them.
