Class Experience

Hi Learners! 
In this ongoing course, students will travel around the world and move, run, jump, and crawl like some of their favorite animals in their favorite places. This class will be a workout focused class in a new place with new animal movements each week! Sometimes, your learner may be jumping, running, and crawling through the jungle like a gorilla, leopard, or toucan. Next, they may climb through sandy hills of the desert like a scorpion or camel. Oh wait, now they are travelling...

Students will improve their fitness

Hi learners and parents! 
I currently am a credentialed teacher in Washington State and hold my endorsements in biology, health and fitness. 
Last year, I taught P.E., weightlifting, health, environmental science, biology and physics to middle and high school students. 
I have experience working with elementary level learners in one on one and small groups settings as a tutor for English, math and science. Also, I have coordinated and led numerous sports specific camps. 
I am a former Orangetheory Fitness Coach and certified athletic trainer
I hold my Master's in Secondary Education with an emphasis in fitness, life sciences and health.
I received my B.S. in Athletic Training from Whitworth University. I completed 1,250 clinical hours in physical therapy clinics, collegiate, semi-professional and high school athletic training rooms, emergency rooms and urgent cares.

Parents should supervise their child to ensure that they are in a safe area and are performing the activities/movements within the workout correctly. Per Outschool policy, parents must also remain off camera during the class.
