In this class learners will write a group narrative story using a graphic organizer and a story template. Dressing like an animal for our story is optional and encouraged.

In this class, students will learn the steps of narrative writing as we write and illustrate a group story about animals going for a walk on the plain. I will dress like a zebra, wearing a striped shirt and a headband with zebra ears. Learners are encouraged to also dress like an animal of their choice. 1 file available upon enrollment• Animal costume (any) This can be a shirt with a picture of an animal on it. OR- no costume and a lot of imagination. • Both handouts (printed before class) • Pencil(s) • Crayons, colored pencils or markers
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parental guidance or an older sibling is recommended if your child needs help writing.
