Students will learn about popular wild cats like lions and tigers. Students will also learn about unique wild cats and facts about different types of cats. We will discuss how these wild cats became domesticated. We will also discuss the history of cats including how cats evolved. Students will learn through guided inquiry and discussion. Students will have the opportunity to participate with the class to share their thoughts and knowledge about cats. Learning will be enhanced with videos and pictures of the different types of wild cats.

Students will learn about wild and domestic cats. They will learn about a few popular wild cats and how cats have evolved to be house pets.

Hello! I am very excited for the opportunity to teach your student. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and certified to teach middle grades math and science. I have five years of teaching experience, both in a classroom and online. I love teaching students in an open environment. My teaching style includes guided questioning and open discussion. I offer classes on math, science, chickens, and organizational skills. I am a mother of two daughters, both with special needs, and married for ten years. I enjoy raising backyard chickens and upcycling or repurposing materials into new DIY projects in my free time.
