This is a class about bugs! We will watch fun videos, and review names and facts about some amazing, unique and weird bugs! We will do some problem-solving and pretend-play, where we will discuss what types of skills and routines these bugs have. Students will learn new facts about several bugs, and sharing their opinions and thoughts is encouraged throughout class. Some example facts: A butterfly's mouth is called a proboscis ("Pro-Boss-Kiss"). It is tube-shaped, and they suck up their food like a straw! There are over 2500 different types of earthworms! Bees have 5 eyes!! See you there! :)
Learning Goals
Students will improve their communication and English skills while interacting with others. They will learn animal science facts.

Bachelor's Degree in English from Brock University
I have been a librarian for over a decade, where I worked with students of all ages (college to elementary) on their reading, organization, and grammar skills. I have also been teaching English online since 2018. In this time, I have learned to elicit total physical response while engaging young learners, teaching curriculum based on learning English as a second language. I have worked in both one-on-one and four-on-one virtual settings. I am comfortable with all ages and with both small and large groups of children.
