In this class, learners will gain knowledge about American Quarter Horse Association recognized horse colors. We will go over 17 different varieties of horse colors. This will be a one time class, with continuation courses to follow. My teaching style includes student led instruction and hands on learning. For this course, students will have a Quizlet as a resource. As I am describing the horse color to them, they will look through the Quizlet and find the flashcard with the picture of the horse color I described. I will also post a game for the students to play amongst themselves after the lesson. During the lesson, students will be encouraged to help each other, ask questions and share their prior knowledge with the class. No previous knowledge or experience is required for this class.
