Description

Class Experience

Students will gain an understanding of what kinds of issues animals are facing in various parts of the world. We will also learn about endangered species and animal rights organizations in the various regions. We will discuss similarities and differences of ideas, efforts, groups, and movements.
I am offering this class in order to show students the world of animal rights activism - including what issues various groups are working on around the world. I went to law school for animal rights, and grew up in Europe. I also made films and had a radio show focused on this topic - it’s a passion and I love to talk with students to hear their thoughts and perspectives and learn some exciting things along the way.
4 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
