Research an animal of your choice, learn PowerPoint skills, learn how to present your project, and present it to us!
Class experience
US Grade 3 - 6
In this week-long "camp" students will learn to show their learning by creating a PowerPoint presentation on an animal of their choice. Students will work at their own pace and log in to receive their updates and learning.
Students will have work to complete between classes in order to complete their projects. However, this is high-interest work and my students rarely complain about this project!
Class 1 and 2- Research

**...Students will learn about an animal. Students will learn research skills. Students will learn PowerPoint skills. Students will learn presentation skills. Students will learn active listening skills.
Homework Offered
Students will work on their research and project outside of class as well. Students should work about 30 minutes a day to complete this. Some students put in more time because they enjoy the activity.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be learning to do safe internet searches. Students are also creating presentations. Parents are encouraged to be aware of what their child is doing on the internet.
