Description
Class Experience
In this ongoing course, we will read different animal picture books every Monday and Wednesday! This class is a space to listen to nonfiction and fiction books about animals or feature animal characters each week. We will also complete an activity related to the book such as drawing, coloring, a quiz, discussion, learning science facts, a craft, etc. Learners are free to join and leave as they like. You can skip the week if you aren't interested in the book on the schedule. Read-alouds not...
Students will gain an appreciation for books and have increased motivation to read.
For some books, I will provide optional extension activities.
Supplies needed for the week will be posted in the classroom. If supplies are needed, it will be materials such as paper and pencils.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will always give feedback on student's progress in the classroom.
1 hour 10 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
