Fun presentations will be shared, which are full of interesting animal photographs for the class to discuss what they think and feel towards the images. These interactive discussions are sure to engage students, and inspire their imagination. Students will gain knowledge around important camera elements such as composition and angles, whilst also attaining new a comprehension of how differing light qualities and angles affect their pet photographs. Students are also given the chance to share new and old photos of their pets and tell stories about them. Class Structure: Each lesson focusses around a different animal/pet photography theme, so that we can do a deep dive into learning and understanding each theme thoroughly. I will explain the specifics of each theme, including technical & creative aspects, as well as sharing an array of engaging animal photos from each theme. The class will work together to analyse how different photographers' particular techniques/processes have been used to achieve amazing images. Short & enjoyable quizzes are included so students can see the progress of their knowledge from each class. Sharing your own photos: Learners are encouraged to share a couple of their own animal/pet photos in the class for encouraging feedback, but do not need to if they do not want to; this is completely optional. If you would like to show some of your photos to the group, please ensure the images are ready to be presented before the class, so you can easily share them on your screen. Class Size: This course’s maximum class size is 6 students so that learners have a better chance to be part of an in-depth, small group experience and discussions. Beginners welcome: No prior knowledge of photography is needed! Important Info: ⭐ Students will need to own a camera to do this class as we will be taking photos in each class. Participants are welcome to use a camera phone if they wish. ⭐ While it is understandable that some students may want to talk less than others, a willingness to participate is essential in this class as we will spend a lot of time engaging in discussion about photography. ⭐ 📷 About me: I am an experienced and enthusiastic teacher who encourages curiosity and engagement from my students.
