Do you love animals? This class is for you then because, each week, we will meet to share stories/news articles about wildlife. We start class with a fun question, check in, and share. Then, we learn about the animal of the week (chosen by the learners on some occasions) and then each learner will have an opportunity to share the article they found. Students will have a safe space and time to share and interact with the teacher and other learners to share and learn about animals.

Sometimes at the end of class, we will play a quiz game on Kahoot!. If you are not familiar with Kahoot, please send me a message with any questions. I also explain the instructions for joining the game in class.
We will be searching for articles here: https://www.dogonews.com/search/dog. This website features "current events, news and non-fictional articles for kids and teachers." Our link goes to a specific search for the word "wildlife."
