Animal Investigations: Warm Blooded and Cold Blooded Classification.

Greetings! My name is Rebecca, and I live in the wonderful state of Michigan. I love science, and I particularly enjoy teaching about animals, food, nutrition, and health sciences. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Human Nutrition in 2005 from Central Michigan University. I am experienced in teaching all grade levels as I have been a substitute teacher for 4 years. I also have 2 years experience as an online ESL teacher, where I have experience in virtual instruction, and organization, and classroom management.

I am a mother to three awesome children, ages 5, 9, and 10. Our family loves to be outdoors! You can find us on the ball field, golf course, walking nature trails, riding bikes, or enjoying water sports on the lake. My love for gardening carries over into the kitchen where I create delicious meals using the vegetables grown in my own backyard!  We are an animal-loving family. We currently have one dog, two fish, and a leopard frog. Growing up, we continually had animals as a part of our family. Included were dogs, cats, birds, gerbils, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, lizards, and even a pet squirrel!

I love the excitement that young students bring to the classroom, and I love the ability to have exploratory and in-depth conversations with my older students. I enjoy teaching students of all ages, and I believe students learn best when they are having fun. My goal is for your student to feel comfortable, engaged and have a great time learning.
