This course lesson aligns to Common Core Standards as well as Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Students will engage in a variety of discussions about a text that is related to theme, ask and answer questions about the topic, and have an opportunity for students to apply their knowledge. Students will apply their knowledge through an interactive game or a writing assignment depending on the topic. The writing assignment is optional but a great way for your child to apply their knowledge about the topic.
