Welcome animal explorers! In this class, we will go on a jungle counting adventure to practice counting and writing numbers 11-20. We will sing a fun song, as we go counting through the jungle. Learners will have fun as we see different animals that live in the jungle. They will also have an opportunity to move like the different animals that we find! I believe learning should be fun and interactive. I work hard to make my classes fun, which is why we are usually going on adventures in my classes. Learners are so wrapped up in pretending, that they often don’t realize they’re learning! I have a Counting in the Jungle class for numbers 1-10, as well, if you would like to try it. We find different animals as we go on that adventure to practice numbers 1-10.

Hello! Welcome to my Outschool classroom! I LOVE teaching through pretend play. My classes are for young explorers, ages 3-6, and I offer many different types of classes that are taught through fun and interactive adventures. Your little one will have so much fun exploring ABC's, counting, landscapes, and animals, as we go on our various adventures, all while building foundational math, reading, and speaking skills!
I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and I have 8 years of teaching experience. I have experience as a 2nd grade elementary teacher and as an online ESL teacher, to children ages 4 to 12. I also have experience with teaching play-based learning activities to small children, ages 18 months to 5 years old.
I am a mother of three. I have two girls, 13 and 3, and I just recently had my baby boy. I appreciate your support of my classes, as they are what are helping me to be able to stay home with my babies.
I believe that learning should be engaging and fun, all while challenging students to think critically and creatively. I also work hard to build relationships and engage every child that joins my virtual classroom.
