In this thirty minute class, students will learn about the physical characteristics of horses. They will discuss the habitat and diet of horses and learn several fun facts. They will learn the difference between English and Western riding and explore some basic horse care skills. Students will create their own horses out of construction paper. I am a certified elementary school teacher. I taught science for 5 years. I also rode horses for 10 years.
Construction paper (Brown, grey, white, black) Scissors Glue Pencil and eraser Markers
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will be using scissors.
