Class Experience

During this class students will learn a variety of facts about spiders by reading and discussing an age-appropriate non-fiction book. We will also read a silly book, Aaaarrgghh! Spider!, by Lydia Monks. We will then watch and discuss a couple short videos of some very unusual spiders in action! Students also have the option to work on a spider coloring sheet during the class (not required—link attached in supply list).

Students will have the opportunity to engage with the teacher and other students throughout the class. Sharing of prior spider-based knowledge with the group is highly encouraged!
