Class Experience

During this class students will learn a variety of facts about sea otters by reading and discussing an age-appropriate non-fiction book. We will also read a silly book, Stop Snoring Bernard, by Zachariah Ohara. We will then check out a couple of short video clips to see these amazing animals in action! The video clips chosen will specifically highlight behaviors discussed in our non-fiction book. Students also have the option to work on a sea otter coloring sheet during the class (not required—link attached in supply list).

Students will have the opportunity to engage with the teacher and other students throughout the class. Sharing of prior sea otter-based knowledge with the group is highly encouraged!
