During this class students will learn a variety of facts about kangaroos by reading and discussing an age-appropriate non-fiction book. We will also read an engaging fictional book, Pouch!, by David Stein. We will then check out a couple of short video clips to see the behaviors we’ve read about in action! Students also have the option to work on a kangaroo coloring sheet during the class (not required—link attached in supply list). Students will have the opportunity to engage with the teacher and other students throughout the class. Sharing of prior kangaroo-based knowledge with the group is highly encouraged!
