This class is designed to inspire learners to dig deeper into their knowledge about different animals and to share their learning with others. Prior to class, learners should select any animal they’d like to learn more about/teach others about. Students should study about their animal and prepare a few facts about the animal. They should also bring a picture or example of the animal (picture, stuffed animal, live animal, drawing of the animal...). When your child registers for this class,...
Before class, students should prepare 3-5 facts about any animal of their choosing. They should bring an example of their animal to class. This could be a sketch, picture, stuffed animal, live animal... Students should practice telling someone in their family about the animal they choose.
Please bring 3-5 facts about any animal you choose and an example of that animal such as a photograph.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
