In this one week summer camp, learners will learn all about the magic with Static and Sherb, collect in-game magic themed items, go island hopping to my five star islands, and catch shooting stars in Animal Crossing!

This summer, use your wand to flick and swish your way to a wondrous world of magic! In this summer camp, learners will learn all about magic with Static and Sherb, and go island hopping to come visit my islands in Animal Crossing New Horizons! While learners are on my island, they will explore, visit my shops, and get popular in-game items! Here is a list of all the items learners will collect in Animal Crossing during this class: 1 million bells 10 nook miles tickets Static’s Poster Sherb’s Poster K.K. Cafe Hypno K.K. K.K. Cruisin’ K.K. Disco K.K. Salsa Wizard’s cap Wizard’s robe Starry wall Cloud flooring Graduation gown Cool Globe Plasma Ball Telescope Artsy Parquet flooring Sky wall Classic library wall Wand Magic kit Magic circle rug Golden gears For our island-hopping adventures, learners will visit my island each day by using a Dodo Code. I will be with your learner in the main classroom on Zoom throughout the entire duration of this class. The entire class will be recorded and NO breakout rooms will be used during this summer camp. Throughout the week, learners will be invited to visit all three of my five-star islands in Animal Crossing! These islands are made up of Kawaii, Konolulu, and Kilala. Each island is totally unique with different villagers and themes for learners to explore! I will begin class by leading learners through the marvelous and fascinating world of magic, exploring a new and exciting topic each day! We will discover this world through vibrant, engaging visuals and information in Google slides that I have created (with a special Animal Crossing twist, of course!). Learners will be encouraged to participate in reading these google slides. At the end of class, as a fun summer camp activity, learners will be able to catch shooting stars every day on my island! So, where will your broomstick take you this summer? Will you be sorted into adventure… or maybe mischief? Guess we’ll find out when you put on your wizard’s hat in this magical world of wonder! Hey there! I'm Sheila, and I'm super excited to be here with you on this awesome learning adventure!
I've been teaching professionally since 2012. I spent 8 years teaching in public schools, working with students from Kindergarten to 8th grade. Then, in 2018, I transitioned to online teaching, connecting with hundreds of learners just like you from all over the globe. On Outschool alone, I have taught almost 500 learners!
Along with teaching, I'm also very passionate about exploring my creative side. I absolutely love working with digital art, designing my own mugs to sell on Etsy, and freelancing as a graphic designer. Currently, I am experienced with using Procreate, Procreate Dreams, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Gimp, Davinci Resolve, PowerPoint, and Canva.
When I'm not teaching or creating, you can find me snuggled up with my cat, Zuko, sipping on my favorite Starbucks latte, or dreaming up new Procreate tutorials. I can't wait to inspire your creativity and share everything I know with you in our classes together! ✨

First let me tell you how fun and engaging this teacher is! She’s somehow tied learning activities in with Animal crossing and the kids don’t even realize that they are learning while having fun!
