Welcome all! If your learner loves to solve puzzles, and loves to join friendly competitions, then this is the class for you! Get ready to be challenged! In this course, we will meet to compete in a brand new obstacle course every week, where learners will have the opportunity to showcase their skills. This goal of this course is to help teach your learner critical thinking skills, problem solving, and friendly competition with other players. We will also be covering the basics for how players can begin to build their own obstacles courses and mazes as they solve puzzles and obstacle courses on my island in Animal Crossing New Horizons! Students will have the opportunity to go through the course two times, and then with any remaining class time, we will be able to visit other learner’s islands, have fun, and get to compete in their obstacles courses if they have any to showcase. CLASS SCHEDULE Week of October 18 - Cattails Week of October 25 - Spooky Week of November 1 - NO CLASS Week of November 8 - Nyan Cat Week of November 15 - Naruto Week of November 22 - Mushroom Week of November 29 - Fall Week of December 6 - Flags of the World Week of December 13 - Magolor Kirby Week of December 20 - Holiday Winter Week of December 27 - Pokemon Unova Week of January 3 - Meme Course There will also be a weekly winner based on completion time and speed! The weekly winners will receive a prize and all of the other learners will also receive in game loot!

ABOUT MISS MAY...
As the leader of May's Gaming World, Miss May is an exceptional educator with a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing (2014), a Teaching Certificate (2015), and a Graduate Degree in Cross Cultural Communication and Education (2020). She taught 2nd Grade for three years before transitioning to online education in 2018, where she has been teaching for the past five years. Miss May is passionate about creating a safe and inclusive environment in all her classes, ensuring that learners feel comfortable, valued, and included in all settings. She has experience teaching learners of all ages, and is currently also working as Nanny for two wonderful toddlers.
Miss May is widely recognized by learners and boasts more than 300 reviews as the #1 top engaging teacher on Outschool. With over 2,000 completed classes through Ongoing Clubs, she has nurtured long-lasting relationships with many learners, some of whom have been with her for three years and counting. Miss May's extensive experience in the gaming world since 2000 has endowed her with a deep understanding of various games.
On a personal note, Miss May enjoys writing, reading, gaming, traveling, and learning about different cultures. She also takes delight in showcasing her Goldendoodle and two fuzzy bunnies. Miss May is eager to learn about the passions of others, including your learner's!
