Class Experience

Students will have fun and learn how to build their Animal Crossing Island.
Ms. Katelynn has been playing Animal Crossing New Horizons since it came out in March of 2020. It is her favorite way to unwind at the end of the day! She is a bellionaire and has lots of items new and old! She has one five star island and one island waiting to get started.
Learners may need to play Animal Crossing outside of class so they are prepared for the next week.
Nintendo Switch/Switch Lite Animal Crossing New Horizons Optional Nintendo Online
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class requires students to have a Nintendo Switch and Animal Crossing New Horizons. If time allows we will also visit each other's islands. That means your learner will have to have a Nintendo Online account in order to visit other islands or to have learners visit their island. This part is completely optional. Parents must be okay with learners sharing their Dodo Codes to have visitors. If you are not ok with your learner sharing a Dodo code, a one time code that changes each time you get one, or have any questions, please contact Miss Katelynn. In the resources and at the bottom of this section you will find links to Nintendo’s COPPA policy and how to set up your learner’s Nintendo Online account to keep them safe. Miss Katelynn will ensure that learners are following their parents wishes.
