Come practice your drawing and chat about Animal Crossing! In this week-long art camp, we will meet five times to learn how to draw familiar and fun characters from the popular video game Animal Crossing. Each day, we will draw a different species of villager. I will guide students with step-by-step directions on how to break each villager down into simple shapes. Students can expect to learn basic drawing techniques such as how to block out your character designs in shapes before adding detail. I always work alongside students with my drawing on a separate camera so the instructions are very clear. I will be teaching very basic drawing techniques and students should be able to take these techniques and apply them to drawing any character - not just the ones from class. All learners will be expected to remain muted during the first chunk of instruction and demonstrations so that everyone can listen to and understand the steps. However, students will be able to chat with each other and share their artwork throughout class and there will be a chunk of time at the end designated to chatting while we add details and color. I always encourage creativity so every learner will be able to make their artwork unique in their own way. Students will only need a basic understanding of working with a pencil and eraser to complete this camp. ***This summer is featuring all new drawings! If you took this camp last summer, you can join again to work on new characters! :) *** This is a "one-time" week long summer camp which means every week will be the same characters. If you would like to continue drawing more villagers with me, you can check out my Animal Crossing Drawing Camp PART 2 or my Animal Crossing Drawing Club. Below is an outline of the characters we will focus on each class: Monday: How to draw 'June' (bear cub) Tuesday: How to draw 'Marshal' (squirrel) Wednesday: How to draw 'Punchy' (cat) Thursday: How to draw 'Molly' (duck) Friday: How to draw 'Fang' (wolf)
