Welcome to Animal Crossing and Happy Home Paradise Club! Do you ever get stuck for design ideas while making a vacation home? Do you ever wish you had another set of eyes to say "No, don't put that table there. Put it over there instead?" Do you ever run out of materials or bells? Well then this club is the place for you! In this weekly club we will get together and play Animal Crossing and Happy Home Paradise! The main goal in Happy Home Paradise is to design vacation homes for characters in the game. While we play together we will discuss which characters we are designing homes for and help each other create that perfect home! We will discuss the characters we want to design homes for and see if anyone has already made them a home on their island. We will also discuss all the new features that Happy Home Paradise brings to Animal Crossing such as the Happy Home Network, the use of pillars, and hanging items from the ceiling. We will also visit each others main island! If there is an item you want or need Miss Katelynn will help you get that item or teach you how to catalog it from a friend or her! Need more bells? Miss Katelynn will give you some bells! We will share Dodo codes to visit each others islands. This is a social club that will focus on collaborative learner-lead discussions. Each week learners are encouraged to bring questions to the club about their designs, as well as, thoughts on the game and game play. This is a place for learners to get together, play the game, and facilitate conversations with each other about the game. If the club has many learners enrolled we may use breakout rooms so each learner has the chance to share their vacation home ideas, get advice on their designs, and show off their main island! This class has a related group also by Miss Katelynn titled Happy Home Paradise Chat.

Parental Guidance
This class requires students to have a Nintendo Switch, Animal Crossing, and maybe the new DLC Happy Home Paradise. We will also visit each other's islands. That means your learner will have to have a Nintendo Online account in order to visit other islands or to have learners visit their island. This part is completely optional. Parents must be okay with learners sharing their Dodo Codes to have visitors. If you are not ok with your learner sharing a Dodo code, a one time code that changes each time you get one, or have any questions, please contact Miss Katelynn.

She has been playing Animal Crossing New Horizons since it came out in March of 2020. It is her favorite way to unwind at the end of the day! She is a bellionaire and has lots of items new and old!
