Animal Clay Sculpting Club - Disney Ocean Animals: Nemo, Dory, Sebastian, Squirt
This on-going class meets once a week. Students will learn how to create sculptures. Instructors will teach basic sculpting techniques to create three-dimensional objects. 2-D shapes and 3-D forms will be discussed. #Creative

Beginner Level
This class is an ongoing format. Students will sculpt a new animal every week. Each week is charged as a subscription on Sunday mornings. Students can join or leave the series any week. Prior attendance and knowledge of the subject is not required to attend. Students will create freestanding, handmade pieces using sculptural techniques. Teacher Katie is a professional artist with a background rooted in animation, where she crafts captivating illustrations for a diverse clientele. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Entertainment Arts and Animation, and utilizes her love of telling stories through her work in story-boarding, illustration, and animation. Her passion in theatrical and costume design and the entertainment industry in general has contributed to an innovative approach in her teaching as well as inspired many students that she met in her classes. Teacher Katie is committed to nurturing an atmosphere of intrigue and creativity, where she empowers her students to unearth their unique narratives within their artistic work. Play-dough or model magic clay (If you get the plain white, you will need to mix paint into the white clay to make other colors. If your learner is on the younger end, it is recommended that you prepare the clay before class. You may want to get three primary colors (red, yellow and blue) plus the white and black. You can pre-make other colors like green, purple, orange, brown by mixing the primary colors before class, so that your learner has all colors ready for use while following along with the instructor.)
