US Grade 1 - 4
In this one-time class, I will teach students about the characteristics of an insect along with ten different insects you wouldn't believe exist along with facts like where they live, their habitat, whether they are herbivores, carnivores, omnivores, etc by playing the guessing game. This game is a great way to get students engaged in what they are learning. I will present each animal through a slide show presentation and by providing students with clues about the animal. Their job is to guess and figure out which one it is based on the clues given. Do you think you can figure them all out based on the clues?

Hello, my name is Jacki, and I am thrilled that you have chosen me to be a part of your child's educational journey.
I have been a homeschooling mom for more than a decade and have taught other children, formally, in a classroom setting as well. I love to work with elementary-aged students in all subjects, including English, Science, Math, and History.
I have a passion for teaching! I believe that children learn best in a fun and entertaining environment, which is why you will often find me singing, dancing, and making a "fool" of myself.
I believe that every child is intelligent, it's my job, as a teacher, to bring that quality out into the open for everyone to see.
"Everybody is a genius. but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."
-Albert Einstien
In my spare time, you will find me traveling the world with my family. We have been to 48 U.S states and plan to travel abroad soon. I'm always up for an adventure.
