Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 5
In this 8-week course, students will learn the basic care of each common pet:
-Week 1 (Week of Feb 27): Fish
-Week 2 (Week of Mar 6): Cat
-Week 3 (Week of Mar 13) : Dog
-Week 4 (Week of Mar 20):Hamster
-Week 5 (Week of Mar 27):Rabbit
-Week 6 (Week of Apr 3): Rat
-Week 7(Week of Apr 10): Lizard
-Week 8 (Week of Apr 17): Bird

Everything taught in the class is up-to-date animal care advice as directed by the American Veterinary Association, and through me, a veterinary student. The goal is to provide learners with the right tools to give their pets a happy and healthy home, as well as information on health signs to look out for that tell them when its time to bring them to the vet.

The class is structured as interactively as possible so that students will have the chance to show off their knowledge and answer questions, as well as ask and learn. Each class includes a colouring sheet and animal care sheet so that the student can draw and remember what they learned.

Students may enroll for one or two sessions, or stay for the full 8 weeks, as each class will discuss the care for different types of animals and will be unrelated to the other week's content. This is perfect for students who are thinking of getting a certain pet, and can pop in for that specific session.

At the end of the 8 weeks, the series will repeat in another section. Other sections will be a repeat of the same 8 classes.
