Class Experience
Class 1: We will discuss different ways that animals protect themselves (porcupine quills, claws, teeth) and how differently shaped body parts help them (turtle shells and armadillo scales). We will learn about animal habitats that help protect them from harm. Class 2: Before the second class, each student will develop their own animal complete with a drawing, animal name, diet, and habitat which they will present on during the second class. This will give the students a chance to...
-Learn ways animals protect themselves (turtle shell, porcupine quills) -Learn about animal habitats -Public speaking opportunity -Creative thinking
I am an avid animal lover with a wide variety of experience. I love when students learn and then can apply the knowledge, so in this class, they will learn and then create and then present.
They will develop their own animal to present during the second meeting
They will need a pencil and drawing items for their homework
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
