Class Experience

Class 1: We will discuss different ways that animals protect themselves (porcupine quills, claws, teeth) and how differently shaped body parts help them (turtle shells and armadillo scales). We will learn about animal habitats that help protect them from harm.

Class 2: Before the second class, each student will develop their own animal complete with a drawing, animal name, diet, and habitat which they will present on during the second class. This will give the students a chance to speak in public about something they designed. Very rarely, some learners do not return the second day so class might end a few minutes early due to less people presenting.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am an avid animal lover with a wide variety of experience. I love when students learn and then can apply the knowledge, so in this class, they will learn and then create and then present.
