US Grade 3 - 6
Each week, a colouring page will be uploaded to the classroom the day before class for students to print or copy. The main class activity will revolve around colouring and labelling these, and involve components such as mini-lecture segments on the structures or functions, and discussion. The aim is to add details to the diagrams and create an accurate, informative, and creative resource that students can keep and use for their further biology study/revision! Students may present their work...
Students will learn the anatomical structure of a range of different animals. Students will create resources that they can continue to use to revise and learn biological concepts.
Homework OfferedNo enforced homework, however, students should be encouraged to complete their diagrams if they don't complete it all during the class session.
Handouts (colouring sheets) will be uploaded the day before class. These should be either printed or copied out in advance so that students can colour/label them during class. Colouring pens/pencils (It would also be acceptable to use a tablet/device to colour and add details to the PDFs if the student is comfortable with how to do this)
