Description
Class Experience
In each class we will choose a new animal to explore. We will discuss topics such as the habits and diet, and habits of each animal. Some lessons may have games, or short videos to watch depending on the specific class. Classes will be structured as open discussion class with group activities. After each lesson students will have time to ask questions, and research together as a class. At the end of each class there will be a short exit ticket to include a writing component to the lesson....
Students will gain a deeper understanding of animals and the lives they live!
A pencil and paper would be great for note taking but will not be required.
A short exit ticket will be given at the end of each class but will not be graded.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Some lessons might include sensitive topics when it relates to certain animals. It may be a part of discussion if animals are meat eaters. No graphic videos or images will be shown of such activities.
