In this exciting and interactive club, they’ll meet live animal ambassadors each week, engage in fun discussions with fellow animal enthusiasts, and participate in hands-on activities. Bring your favorite animal plush, toy, or collectible, and join the adventure! Each session is standalone and interactive—learners can join anytime! What to Expect Each Week: ✅ Meet & Observe 2-3 Live Animals Up Close ✅ Learn About Their Habitats, Adaptations & Pet Care ✅ Engage in Fun, Hands-On Animal Activities ✅ Ask Questions & Chat with Fellow Animal Lovers No two weeks are the same—every session brings new animals, crafts, and discoveries! 🌟 Weekly Animal & Activity Schedule: 📌 Week 1: 🦔 Hedgehog & Tenrec – Sculpt a Hedgehog (Materials: playdough or clay, toothpicks, googly eyes) 📌 Week 2: 🐢 Tortoises & Turtles – Turtle/Tortoise Craft (Printable provided in the classroom) 📌 Week 3: 🦎 Axolotl & Frogs – Draw an Axolotl (Materials: drawing paper, pencil, crayons/colored pencils) 📌 Week 4: 🐍 Snakes – Create a Snake Finger Puppet (Printable provided; materials: crayons, scissors, tape) 📌 Week 5: 🦨 Ferret & Rabbit – Guess the Animal Game & Ferret coloring sheet (printable provided) 📌 Week 6: 🦎 Lizards – Bearded Dragon Craft (Printable provided; materials: crayons, scissors, glue stick) Learners can join for one week or stay for the full adventure—there’s always something new to explore! Learning Goals
Learners will observe and describe the physical characteristics, habitats, and adaptations of various live animals, developing an understanding of their unique traits and survival strategies.
Learners will engage in creative, hands-on activities related to each featured animal, reinforcing their knowledge through artistic expression and interactive play.

I have been an informal environmental educator for over 25 years and have worked with numerous animal ambassador species. I now house a private ambassador collection with over 35 different species.
