Welcome to Animal ABC's! This class is perfect for young animal lovers who are starting to learn their ABC's and/or learning to sound out their letters to start to read CVC words. Learners will learn about an animal for each letter of the alphabet. The teacher will incorporate the phonic sound for each letter. At the end of each lesson, a short trivia game will commence to serve as a fun and creative assessment. Learners can bring something that starts with the letter of the week for show and tell at the beginning of each class. Learners are welcome to share and ask questions in class. Learners will have a fun and engaging environment to learn and be a part of. This class allows learners to learn socialization and mindfulness through sharing. The class animals for each letter every week will be as follows: A - Armadillo B - Binturong C - Coconut Crab D - Diplodocus E - Emperor Shrimp F - Firefly G - Gharial H - Harpy Eagle I - Iguanadon J - Jumping Spider K - Kinkajou L - Leatherback Sea Turtle M - Millipede N - Nutria O - Orca P - Pangolin Q - Quetzalcoatlus R - Racoons S - Stingrays T - Toad U - Unicornfish V - Vulture W - Woolly Mammoth X - X-ray Fish Y - Yellow Jacket Z - Zebra Shark This class will touch on subject matters like Environmental Education, Language Arts, Science and Mindfulness. Learning Goals
Every week, learners will learn about an animal for each letter of the alphabet. The teacher will cover the phonic sound for the letter of the day. This class also teaches socialization and mindfulness through sharing.
