Description
Class Experience
Children will learn about how situations may trigger anger. They then learn how their body gives signals that anger is coming. They will then explore those signals by imitation. Children will be taught about scaling their anger and when to find help before "exploding." Happier ways to respond to challenges when angry will be listed in their charts. Practicing how to respond in angry situations will happen in role play.
I have had over 40 years working with children teaching many subjects in one-on-one or classes and I am a professional counselor. My approach will be to talk about general anger issues with Angry Angler in a funny way, and get the children to choose better solutions for Angry Angler. No personal information from the learners will be discussed.
Children are encouraged to participate in the craft in session which can then be used as a reminder of what they learned in class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
Parents can help by preparing the craft materials for each week for their learner.
