In this ongoing ESL circle time club children will meet 2 times a week with a native English speaker to increase their vocabulary, their conversational skills and their social skills as they learn about themselves and the world around them. This is great for ESL students because they will be encouraged use new vocabulary words and speak in complete sentences. Each week the children will be introduced to new topics where they will learn new vocabulary words. We will sing  songs, play games. read stories and more. The children will be encouraged to talk about what we learned today. I will also make time for the children to discuss what’s going on with them. I believe children learn by being given the opportunity to talk, dance, sing and have a good time. 

Each class will begin with a greeting where the children will interact with me and with each other as we ask and answer simple questions ( How are you? What is your name? What is your favorite color?...)
I will then use a simple slide show to teach letters, numbers and themes. 

Classes will include: 
vocabulary focused lessons
grammar focused lessons
STEM focused lessons
culture focused lessons
story focused lessons

These classes do not build upon the previous weeks therefore learners are able to join and leave at any time.
