This class is nontherapeutic in nature. All children are welcome in my classroom. I teach in a fun and engaging manner so children will feel safe to learn with others. When children get in the habit of lying, showing disrespect and not being able to control their anger, it can cause disruption at home and school. In this class we will talk about WHY we make these choices, the consequences and how to manage our behavior. I use my story as a disruptive child to teach others how much I missed out on and the chaos I brought to those around me. This is a student-centered class, taught with patience and understanding. I feel it is more productive when the students participate as much as possible, instead of me lecturing them, I encourage students to interact. No prior knowledge is required for this class. ***Transfer requests must be made 48 hours before the class start time. This gives ample time for other students to enroll. I appreciate your understanding. Students who missed class will have access to the recording if there are more than one enrolled. Transfers will not be issues for missed classes.
