Hello, I'm teacher Jocelyn; I have been teaching English for 8 yrs. I've already taught kids, teenagers, and adults at different levels from beginner to advanced. I love singing and playing ukulele and guitar. I'm currently teaching in California as a certified Education Specialist.

I have a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education major in English. I have a master's degree in Educational Management and a master's degree in Special Education. Currently, I'm pursuing my Ph.D. in Special Education. I am certified to teach English to Speakers of Other Languages and a certified behavior technician. Mentoring students in journalism was one of the indispensable milestones that I enjoyed doing for four years. My job was crucial but fulfilling because I could balance my work as a class adviser and guide and teach them the aspects of newspaper from writing, editing, and layout.

I would love to teach you English speaking skills, Study and Thinking skills, correct grammar construction, comprehending literary text, writing a business letter, idiomatic expression, parts of speech, or any lessons in English.
To achieve a meaningful, child-centered, and engaging class, learners have their way of grasping learning. As a teacher, I have to help my students develop themselves by supporting their specific needs and incorporating differentiated instructions.

I'm a passionate and student-centered-focused teaching professional committed to providing a supportive, meaningful, engaging, and well-balanced learning environment for all the learners of English. I'm competent in understanding learners' needs and forming sensible action plans that will be useful in achieving organizational goals.
