Class Experience
Hello! My name is Mike and I am very passionate about both Star Wars and film analysis. Film analysis is a great art form to become acquainted with because it can make any good movie even better once you are aware of the different ways the director tells the story. Star Wars is one of my favorite movie series because it tells an incredibly deep and rich story that spans generations. I very much look forward to sharing the deep complexities/film concepts used in the movies.
The homework is to watch the subject of the week either before or after class.
Students will need access to the star wars movies. All of them are available for streaming on the Disney+ app.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
The Star Wars movies/shows (Andor) have various ratings for different things. Even though they are intended as children’s movies, parents please be aware that some of them are rated PG-13 for various reasons.
