DESCRIPTION: 
This class discusses the ancient Roman holiday called Saturnalia. Saturnalia, held in mid-December, is an ancient Roman festival honoring the agricultural god Saturn. Saturnalia celebrations are believed to be the source of many of the traditions we now associate with modern winter holidays and traditions.

The Greco-Roman world; its history, literature, culture, and languages are fascinating topics to teach. I have taught Roman history, as well as other Classics related subjects, to a range of ages and skill levels.  This class is meant to be fun!
