Travel back as we take an adventure through history to the ancient civilization of ancient Egypt. Using artifacts, writings, and secondary sources, learners will explore what daily life was like for the ancient Egyptians, the pharaohs that shaped Egypt, the gods and goddesses they worshipped, the pyramids where their kings and queens are buried, and mummies that are still so fascinating today. The camp will feature interactive lectures, storytelling, activities, and games. Multiple viewpoints will be used in class. Parental Guidance
During this camp, discussions of slavery, the religion of Ancient Egypt, and death before mummification. Discussions will be kept at an age-appropriate level.
During this class, we will use Kahoot!, Gimkit, and Nearpod. Learners will use a link during class that is provided to access these resources. Learners will not need an account to access the resources through the link.
