This course will examine the "Bronze Age Collapse" a period of history in which the ancient world's most powerful civilizations were either destroyed or barely survived. Following the events of the bronze age collapse writing, art, and architecture nearly disappeared leaving archaeologists and historians with a mystery to solve. The curriculum for this course is based on the books "The End of the Bronze Age" by Robert Drews and "1177 BCE: The Year Civilization Collapsed" by Eric H. Cline. These books are not required nor recommended for students.
