Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 8
To ensure effective tutoring, the teacher suggests meeting 3x per week. Book additional recurring meetings after the initial purchase.
  • By the end of the course, learners will have a thorough understanding of the skeletal system, its components, and its vital role in the human body. They will be equipped with the knowledge to maintain bone health and continue exploring the wonders of human anatomy.
As a bachelor's prepared Registered Nurse spanning over two decades and licensed in 40 states, I've gained hands-on experience in human anatomy encompassing numerous medical specialties including pediatrics, operating room, surgery, and many others.

Details: Grading Options and Role of Grades in the Skeletal System Course Grading Options: Letter Grades: Available upon request. Reflect performance on assessments, participation, and completion of assignments. Certificate of Completion: Awarded to all learners who successfully complete the course requirements. Includes recognition of specific achievements (e.g., excellent participation, outstanding project work). Narrative Feedback: Personalized feedback on strengths, areas for improvement, and overall progress. Provided by request for parents or guardians seeking detailed insight into their learner’s learning experience. Grading Policy: By Request: Letter grades and narrative feedback are available by request from parents or guardians. Default: Certificates of completion will be provided by default for all learners who meet the course requirements. Role of Grades: Motivation and Recognition: Grades and certificates serve as tools to motivate and recognize learners’ efforts and achievements. Progress Tracking: Helps track learners' understanding and mastery of the skeletal system topics. Feedback and Improvement: Provides constructive feedback to guide further learning and improvement. In this course, grades and certificates aim to celebrate learners' accomplishments, encourage continuous learning, and provide valuable feedback to support their educational journey.
No prerequisites, skills or experience required.
Supplies and materials for upcoming projects will be discussed prior to the class they are needed in. 
Parental guidance may be required when learners are using scissors to cut out pieces for labeling and matching activities that learners will participate in. 

COURSE POLICIES

Refund Policy:
Per Outschool Refund Policy - All classes have a standard refund policy: "Refund within 24 hours of payment until your next meeting or lesson access begins."
Transfer requests to a new section must be made at least 72 hours before class begins.

Missed Meetings:
If a learner hasn't joined the meeting 10 minutes after the scheduled start time, it will be cancelled, and refunds won't be provided.

Attendance Policy:
Missing 3 consecutive classes without prior communication to Nurse2Teacher Patricia forfeits the class fee, with no refunds, and remaining sessions will be cancelled.

Recordings:
Recordings are available upon request. 

Respectful Behavior:
Learners must be respectful of Nurse2Teacher Patricia and all other learners at all times.

Make-up Sessions:
Make-up sessions will be provided in case of an emergency preventing Nurse2Teacher Patricia from attending class.
